What is Climate Change?

Climate change is a phenomenon mostly caused by humans. When we litter or drive gas cars, this causes pollution on the ground and in the air. The litter can get in the ocean, and air pollution can make our atmosphere get hotter and hotter, and that causes icebergs to melt! 😱

Things that contribute to climate change

LITTERING

When you litter, it can go into a storm pipe and get washed into the ocean. This can upset the ecosystem.

USAGE OF GAS

Burning oil or gas creates carbon particles, and those are bad for our air.

USING A LOT OF PLASTIC

Plastic is made from fossil fuels, and takes thousands of years to break down. These microplastics get everywhere, even in our bloodstream.
